WHERE DO LIFE AND FAITH INTERSECT?
The Speakeasy is a gathering for unfiltered spiritual conversation. Featuring local voices, we’ll get together to listen to one another, share stories of life and faith, lift up those who are doing good work in our corner of the world, and cultivate community. Join us as we raise a pint, a fork, and your spirit with some meaning and margin.
Arrive early to order a drink from House of Hops and dinner from The Root Cellar. Conversation starts at 7 pm.
For our fall 2019 launch, we’re excited to welcome Susan Graebe for a conversation on self-discovery, wholeness, and the Enneagram. Here’s more about Susan:
Susan Newton Graebe brings more than 26 years of leadership experience in church and non-profit organizations to her work as a coach and her role with the NC UMC Residency in Ordained Ministry program. Her creative and collaborative spirit helps knit together diverse gifts and people for Christ-centered service in local churches and other settings. As a trained coach for individuals and churches, Susan has spent much of the last seven years helping RIOM participants, church staff and laity teams discover the power and effectiveness of leading from their individual and collective strengths. In November she will complete a one-year Enneagram Cohort training with master Enneagram teacher Suzanne Stabile, co-author of The Road Back to You and author of The Path Between Us, and she is entering year 3 of her personal Enneagram small group work.
Susan has a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Drama and an M.Div. from Duke Divinity School. She has been deeply involved with ZOE Ministry since it began in 2004, serving on the Board, as the ZOE Advocate Co-Chair, serving on staff as Associate Director, and leading teams to visit ZOE’s work across the globe.
