Beyond a Series: Our Summer of Rewilding Continues

Since our series, The Call of the Wild: A Journey of Rewilding, wrapped up a few weeks ago, we’ve continued to hear from you how meaningful it was. As a church, we’re committed to not letting our journeys of rewilding end with a sermon series but letting it become a way of life for us as we continue to walk edges, explore the boundaries of our faith, and ponder how our connection with the natural world reveals more about who God is, who we are, and who we’re called to be.

To this end, we’re excited to share three ways your rewilding journey can continue.

Rewilding Continued

First, we’ve assembled a list of resources to help you continue to lean into your own work of rewilding. Featuring activities, books, podcasts, and more, there’s something for everyone, no matter where you are on the journey.

Evenings with the Wild: August 19

Second, our next gathering of Evenings with the Wild will happen on Monday, August 19, at 6:00 p.m. These gatherings have been a place to meet, dig deep, and share about the ways our faith is bound with the natural world. Bring something to share—even if it’s just yourself.

Go Wild: Stargazing with Wes on August 2

If you’re looking for new ways to experience the awe and wonder of God’s creation, join us for a stargazing outing on Friday night, August 2. We’ll gather around 8:00 p.m. at Havoc Brewing to hang out before heading to Bynum Bridge to take in the expansive sky. There’s a good chance you’ll see the Milky Way and a few meteors. Rain Date: August 3
