Introducing Field Notes: A WhatsApp Group on the Way of Jesus

One of our primary hopes at The Local Church is that you’ll be affirmed, anchored, and empowered to take your next step on the Way of Jesus. But just as Jesus’s early friends and followers didn’t travel alone, neither do we. That’s why we created our WhatsApp group, called Field Notes. Like a notebook that you might carry with you as you travel, Field Notes provides a place to collect and share:

We often come across things that move us, challenge us, or inspire us. Field Notes is designed to be a place where we can share these things with each other, building a sense of community and support along the way.

We imagine Field Notes to be a space that complements our rhythm of life and enriches our community. Whether it's a beautiful photo that captures a moment of wonder, a song you can’t get out of your head, a reflection from your Next Step practice, an insight from the Read Along, or a prayer that you need to share with others, Field Notes is the place to share it. In so doing, we can encourage one another, learn from one another, and grow together in our faith.

So, if you come across something that you think might inspire or encourage others in and among The Local Church, don't hesitate to share it in Field Notes. This is a space for us to connect, share, and support one another as we journey together on the way of Jesus.
